Lesson 7 - How to coordinate the adjectives in a phrase

If all the nouns and the adjective associated in a phrase are of the same gender , the adjective follows the same gender in the plural form.

ex. Una maglietta e delle cinture nuove (=a new t-shirt and a new belt)

ex. Un maglione e dei pantaloni nuovi (=a new jumper and a new pair of trousers)

If the nouns have different gender, the adjective that is associated at both of them has to be in the male plural form.

ex. Dei pantaloni e una maglietta nuovi (= a new pair of trousers and a new t-shirt )
